The Motor

Veloteq Power-on-Demand Ebikes for 2008 are equipped with a new 500W high performance gear reduction motor that outperforms our 750W motor on hilly terrain and accelerates fast on takeoff.* The motor uses lube injection to insure that all internal gears are properly lubricated at all times. It is carefully calibrated to deliver the maximum speed permitted by law for on-road use. Its high power neodymium magnet brushless assembly requires minimal maintenance.
